Hi, I’m Steve Brewer. I’m 45 year old. Except for a 4 year term in the Air Force, I have lived in Sanford since I was 2 years old. For 14 years my wife Kathy and I have been the owners and operators of The Flame Steakhouse. We are the proud parents of 3 young men who also help us in our business when not in school.
In 2005, I was elected to the City Council Ward 1. I believed it was time to look at things in a different manner. This included taxes, beautification, recreation, public safety and more. It’s true… being a council member is not always an easy job. My cup is always half full instead of half empty….trying to focus on the positive instead of the negative. I have a passion for our city, and enjoy serving the good citizens of Sanford.
