Steve, great to see you back. I have a concern with the city allowing people to litter our streets every day without penalty. drive down Lee Ave. and look at what you see along the road in front of Kendale shopping center…sign after sign. This week there are about 10 of them advertizing some power something. Look at many other intersections and you will see “buy your home”, “revival”, “cheap health care”. Have you been by the waffle house lately? they have 5 or 6 signs planted right at the road. What about real estate signs. The developement off Burns Dr. weekly puts out signs all along the exit ramps off of US 1. Not only that but now they are chaining “open house” a-frame signs to the street sign on Hawkins & Burns and even to a sign in the middle of the medians off the exit ramps. I know that can not be legal.
What about “yard sale” signs that people staple to light poles and never take them down after the sale? Why can’t the city fine these people for not removing them?….just thoughts…take your camera ….get some photos. You don’t have to drive far….thanks
